Turnitin Checking of Capstone Project
According to a request from the UPOU Library, we are to distribute this information to students who are prepared to submit papers for Turnitin checking:
1. Document Requirements:
- Make sure that your capstone project follows the correct format and is in the appropriate template based on the MIS Program Handbook.
For students who graduated before May 2023, please access this link for the capstone project format: Capstone Project Template I.
For students who graduated on or after May 2023, please access this link for the capstone project format: Capstone Project Template II.
- The document that will be submitted to the Library should be in a Word file (.docx), which contains the Chapters 1 - 5 and the Abstract of your capstone project
- The file size of your document should follow the required size of Turnitin. If the file size is too big, you will need to compress your file.
- Submit your documents to the Library at library@upou.edu.ph.
2. Library's response upon checking:
- The library will send a "Congratulations" message once the paper has a 20 percent or below similarity score.
- If your similarity score is above 20 percent, you will be required to revise your paper. You will be asked to resubmit it to the Library for a new Turnitin checking.
Please include the misprogramsupport@upou.edu.ph mail and fics.fsec.support@upou.edu.ph emails in the thread of your conversation with the Library.
